1. Commitment Management System

Project Description:
Satya Marg Solutions Inc. ("SMS") is planning to develop a web based "Commitment Management System (CMS)" to help departments better manage resources and forecast the budgets. This application has applicability in all fields of the industry especially educational and Matrix Based organizational structures.

The Commitment Management System (CMS) is intended as a tool for projecting and controlling expenditures against PTAs (Project, Task and Awards). There are several applications in the market but they do not fully cater to the actual needs of the industry and hence a need for such a systems. The existing applications (Project based applications like Oracle Financials) will provide for the creation of encumbrances, but these encumbrances are currently problematic and limited in scope.  There is no opportunity for users to manipulate the Oracle encumbrances to reflect planned actions not yet recorded in the central system, i.e. actions that are not yet "hard" commitments or encumbrances.  CMS addresses these problems and incorporates the official, up-to-date budget, expenditure, and encumbrance data along with modifications and additions to commitments that are known at the local level and produces inquiry screens and reports that provide the most up-to-date and accurate picture of an account's status.

2. Corporation Website Application

Project Description:
Satya Marg Solutions Inc. will assign a highly qualified project team which will be responsible for the entire design and implementation of the website. The current website is not addressing all the services that company is offering and the company is planning to offer wide range of services n the next couple of years. The project requires Satya Marg Solutions Inc. to design the entire e-business application using products for Interfaces for clients and consultants, user registration, basic security and authentication and eCommerce gateway to Satya Marg Solutions Inc. payment server. The first application release will be launched and to go live in Sep 2008 and then Satya Marg Solutions Inc. will develop two more application releases with additional features and enhancements till. This application will be used for potential clients with similar and additional features based on their business requirements. Satya Marg Solutions Inc. is not looking for immediate sales for these products until we release the beta version and tested in-house.

3. Recruitment Management & Planning Implementation

Project Description:
Satya Marg Solutions Inc. is planning to develop an in-house Recruiting Management System Application (“RMS”) web application to automate several key functions in its Human Resources Department (“HRD”). After the completion of the initial scoping and assessment phase carried out from November 2006 through January 2007, Satya Marg Solutions Inc. has decided to go ahead with the actual implementation of the next phase of the project which will enable its HRD to better manage and plan its resource requirements and forecast the need for resources to be recruited.

IT will use its Application Development Methodology to execute this project. With Requirements Elaboration and UI Prototype phase already complete, the scope of this Project Charter is limited to execute. The project will be executed execute as per the development phases which includes Design, Build, Testing, User Acceptance Testing support and Post UAT Support.
